Deer Creek-Lamont’s Chloe Smith – FFA Spotlight Presented by Oklahoma AgCredit

Freshman Chloe Smith’s high school career is just getting underway and she’s already off to a great start. A member of the track and cross country team, Smith has the athleticism to play other sports and contribute as an underclassman.

“I am in cheer and plan to play basketball this year,” said Smith. “What I love most about my team is how supportive everyone is and they treat each other like family.”

Smith is also involved in FFA at Deer Creek-Lamont. Recently she showed broiler chickens at the Tulsa State Fair.

She’s also the freshman class secretary, which is another activity that keeps her busy.

“I want to be involved in more school activities,” said Smith.

Her favorite subject in school is Oklahoma History and she always puts academics before all other activities outside the classroom. Smith hopes to one day take her talents to the next level.

“I would like to go to a good college after I graduate,” said Smith.

One thing Smith will always bring to the table whether it’s in athletics, FFA or the classroom, is a full commitment to being the best at her activities and helping others to reach their goals.
