Fairview’s Ally Robinson – Character Counts Presented by Eischen Chevrolet

By Ryan Stone

Ally Robinson is the recipient of the Fairview Character Counts honor. Robinson is a junior outfielder for the Yellowjackets softball team and got off to a hot start this season.

Robinson is currently batting .348 with 20 RBI, six doubles and 26 runs scored. She has helped propel Fairview to a 24-2 record so far this season and is one of the leaders for the team.

“I would say my role on the team is to lead the younger classmen to keep positive attitudes and to set the mood to have fun and love every minute of the game,” said Robinson.

During the offseason Robinson worked on her hitting and helped her little sister Mallory, who is in the eighth grade. With Robinson playing at a high-level Fairview is already close to reaching their regular season goal.

“We have set a goal to win 25 games and we have now won 24 so far,” said Robinson, “we also set a goal to just improve every game and see how far we can go this season.”

Robinson also plays basketball for Fairview and is a standout in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. In everything she does on and off the field you can see character is important to her.

“Character to me is what my parents have taught me and that is to be true to myself, be kind, always give 100% of myself to anything I’m doing whether that be sports, academics, or work, never quit, to always make choices that will make myself proud, and to always make others feel important,” said Robinson.

Ally is also involved in FCA, NHS, FFA and is a member of her church youth group.
