Under the Radar… the basketball season has tipped off. There are players all across northwest Oklahoma that are stepping up and making a difference. Check out these players to keep an eye on.
Lady Longhorn Courtney Petersen
No. 12 5’11” Sophomore
Coach: Tana Gragg
Sophomore Courtney Petersen is a young player that is getting better every day. She is long and athletic and plays the center of the Chisholm zone defense. Petersen plays volleyball, basketball, runs track and plays golf. She was on a Class 2A state champion track team, finished 18th at the 2A State Golf Tournament as a freshman. According to Coach Gragg, Petersen needs to find her identity and thinks the “best is yet to come.”
